Design of a substation for the landfill gas collection with automated regulation of the wells.
Through the installation of hardware components on the existing plant and the use of the central management software developed by EXE-Engineering for Environment, has been designed and built a substation for monitoring and remote control of the landfill gas extraction with automated regulation of collection wells.
This first plant will be used to determine the increase in biogas collection and evaluate the extension of the Landfillbiogas 4.0 technology to the entire landfill.
Results
From 30% to 60% more biogas collected in annual production.
Improvement of plant safety with oxygen levels < 2%.
Reduction of diffuse emissions near the substation.
